October Sky - I haven't thought about that movie in years, but I remember loving it when I saw it!

I agree with you on the fact that audiences have a choice and a responsibility on what they are offered: I have heard many friends say things like "Oh, those superhero movies/franchise sequels/Disney live actions are boring and soulless, they need to make something new and interesting!" but then they get in line and buy a ticket to see the very movies they criticize.
