I've read a ton of articles and essays about ancient Roman graffiti and it's hilarious how much they look like something a teenager would write today! The same insults, jokes, declarations of eternal love, the same people boasting about their dick size and success with the ladies ("Hic ego puellas multas futui", "I fucked a lot of girls there") and complaining about their bosses ("Dominus est non gradus anus rodentum", "My boss isn't worth a rat's ass").
One of the oldest written engravings ever discovered was a sentence in old Nordic runes, carved high up on a wall, saying “This is very high”.
We really didn't change all that much in 2000 years!
