It's all fun and games until one Italian city (Modena) steals a wooden bucket from a rival city (Bologna), the two go to war over it, an Italian poet writes a whole-ass 220-pages-long comic epic poem called The Rape Of The Bucket about the incident, and even Salieri composes an opera inspired by the poem.
By the way, the bucket is still jealously guarded in the Ghirlandina tower in Modena - the winning city - almost 700 years later. Bologna still tries to steal it back from time to time.
