I had to actively resist the constant nudging to become a teacher for about three decades now (I think my mom waited at least until I was out of kindergarden to start drilling it into me, but I'm not sure.)

My mother has worked in schools, as an administrator, all her life, and she seems to think her offsprings are just meant to stand in a classroom. There's a problem with that: I am completely and utterly unable to teach anything to anyone in any way, shape or form, and I tried to explain this concept to her several times, to no avail - which is another proof I am simply not good at conveying information.

One of my younger brothers, an IT specialist with a good job, recently caved in, quit his job and began teaching at the same school my mom works in. When my moms applies pressure, she applies it hard.
